I wish that you could all have at least four or five days in Kerry but for many your itinerary will not allow this.
I want you to travel out the Dingle Peninsula, a place of extraordinary beauty with striking mountain, cliff and sea views on almost every turn of the road. It is a relatively small peninsula so if you allow a full day you can, at a leisurely pace, explore many of the most beautiful places in Kerry. A day around Dingle is not complete without dropping in and out to little cafes and bars for lunch, many shops in the villages selling arts and crafts and there are some excellent restaurants in the town itself. Should you like walking by the beach then there are numerous of them around the peninsula including the miles long sandy beach at Inch. I will talk to you about the Slea Head Drive, the Connor Pass, Ballydavid, Barryferriter, the Three Sisters, the Blasket Visitor Centre and many more such places that I will want you to visit and of course there is the Connor Pass …
I hope that you can have the time in Ireland to spend one day and night in Dingle; at least two nights and days in Killarney or elsewhere such as Kenmare, Sneem or Waterville (all on the Ring of Kerry). I would hope that you may have that extra day to do some further exploring and I will come back to that next week.
So for now your itinerary will include, hopefully, three nights in Kerry.
